- Completed technical education
- Experience in research funding, innovation management, or R&D project management
- Knowledge of the Austrian and European funding landscape is desirable (e.g., FFG, AWS, Horizon Europe)
- Experience in establishing and managing international partnerships and consortia
- Understanding of technical product or development processes in industry
- Ability to clearly and precisely present complex technical content in application and report texts
- Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage)

- Responsible for the overall process and system management in the field of research funding.
- Development and further advancement of a global funding strategy.
- Identification of suitable national and international funding programs
- Development, preparation, and submission of funding applications, including budget and resource planning.
- Ensuring adherence to group standards for applications, reporting, and compliance
- Supporting all departments with new or revised funding formats, requirements, and guidelines
- Responsibility for project controlling, monitoring, and on-time reporting
- Optimization of central funding processes
- Management of collaboration with funding agencies (FFG, AWS, EU agencies, international institutions)
