Completed technical training or a technical degree
Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in an international industrial or automotive setting
In-depth knowledge of supplier management and global procurement processes
Experience leading international teams
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Negotiation skills and the ability to assert oneself
Analytical and strategic thinking skills
Strong communication skills
Good IT skills and proficiency with SAP; experience with S4Hana is desirable

Overall responsibility for the global procurement of indirect materials in accordance with the principles of total cost of ownership
Providing technical and disciplinary leadership to the on-site procurement team, as well as functional leadership to the international procurement organization
Development and implementation of a global procurement strategy for indirect materials and services
Ensuring compliance with and the continuous improvement of procurement processes and standards
Identification and implementation of cost-saving and optimization opportunities on a global scale
Strategic supplier management, including the selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
Conducting international price and contract negotiations
Analysis of procurement markets and conducting benchmarks
Close collaboration with international plants and departments
Supporting investment projects and ensuring a sustainable procurement strategy
