• Completed technical training or a technical degree
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in an international industrial or automotive setting
• In-depth knowledge of supplier management and global procurement processes
• Experience leading international teams
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to assert oneself
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills and proficiency with SAP; experience with S4Hana is desirable

#ChallengeCheck

• Overall responsibility for the global procurement of indirect materials in accordance with the principles of total cost of ownership
• Providing technical and disciplinary leadership to the on-site procurement team, as well as functional leadership to the international procurement organization
• Development and implementation of a global procurement strategy for indirect materials and services
• Ensuring compliance with and the continuous improvement of procurement processes and standards
• Identification and implementation of cost-saving and optimization opportunities on a global scale
• Strategic supplier management, including the selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
• Conducting international price and contract negotiations
• Analysis of procurement markets and conducting benchmarks
• Close collaboration with international plants and departments
• Supporting investment projects and ensuring a sustainable procurement strategy
