Apprenticeship

Machining mechanics manufacture components for machines, vehicles, or technical systems with the highest precision – using modern CNC-controlled lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines. In your day-to-day work, you will program machines, set them up, and monitor the manufacturing process. You will check dimensions and surfaces, document results, and thus verify quality. Maintenance and minor repairs are also part of a machining mechanic's job.
